Our Kitesurf Tulum Mexico Camp is organised every year in April.

The Maya Riviera is a true paradise for Kitesurfing; there are uncrowded and wild beaches where you can only find white sand and lush palm trees, together with a pristine and warm Caribbean ocean and steady wind.

Kitesurf Tulum Mexico: Spot Details

Warm and pristine water and steady wind from the East, stronger during the mornings is what Tulum has to offer.

Kitesurfing will be on a private property, a beautiful tropical beach, uncrowded and with plenty of space for kiting!

The reef is located 200 meters from the shore, closing the beach and transforming it on a big bay. Even if this limits the exposure to open water, the riding area is still choppy.

Weather

Tulum offers tropical and beautiful weather and, from February to May we enjoy sunny days, steady wind and occasional rains, even if it’s “dry season”.

Water Temperature: warm water with an average of 79F.

Air Temperature: 80 to 86 F and stays warm, day and night.

Wind average: 12 to 20 knots

Wind direction: Side On Shore & On-shore

Kite sizes: 9 to 14 meters

Wetsuits: Not necessary. Only a rash guard needed.

Health. There is no vaccine mandatory. Tulum is an area still in infrastructure development, so tap water is highly valued and solar energy is used in the area. Therefore, we recommend using bottled or sterilised water.
Visa. According to Mexican government regulations, all U.S. citizens must show a valid passport, book or card, to enter Mexican territory, by any means of transportation, beyond the border zone (20 kilometers, 13 miles, from the border). No visa or tourist card is required for stays of less than 72 hours within the border zone.
